Refund Policy

Soteria is responsible for refunds we will refund the customer rather than the service provider. Cancellations made 24 hours before booking time are subject to a 75% refund and cancellations within 24 hours to booking are not subject to refunds.

How does payments work on Soteria?

Soteria uses Stripe connect to process payments so all service providers will have both a Soteria account and a Stripe connect account under Soterias Stripe umbrella. This makes payments flow Customers -> Soterias Stripe profile -> Service provider stripe profile

Withdrawls from your Stripe connect account are free and can be automated directly to your bank account

How does insurance work on Soteria?

All service providers using Soteria are required to have the appropriate insurance. If we use the example of a dog walker the dog walker must have their own insurance and when the service is being fulfilled their insurance will be liable. Soteria is a marketplace and payment processing platform all services are subcontracted to other companies (Registered service providers)
